About Ranketta
Ranketta is the leading Agentic Commerce Optimization Platform, ensuring every consumer product is discoverable and purchasable by AI. We help D2C brands and e-commerce merchants earn visibility, recommendations, and transactions as AI agents become the primary commerce interface.
We are now building paid acquisition for the US and UK markets and are looking for someone who can find the channels that work in a category most people have not searched for yet.
The opportunity
As Growth Lead, you will own the path from stranger to activated account. Today nobody does. Content produces attention, the product converts, and the space between them is empty.
You get two assets most early-stage companies do not have. Our free audit takes a work email and a domain and returns a report in minutes, so the prospect judges their own number rather than our claim. And a blog publishing three times a week is building an audience that currently leaks.
You also get an honest problem. The category is new, so search demand is thin and volatile. Buying existing intent will only take you so far, which means the job is finding where this audience already pays attention and proving it works. That is a harder brief than optimising a channel someone else validated, and it is the reason this role exists.
Who we are looking for
- A growth or performance marketer from B2B SaaS with a considered buying cycle. Results here surface weeks after the click, and instincts tuned to same-session conversion will mislead you.
- Someone who has built measurement from scratch. You have wired up tracking and attribution yourself, and you know the specific place where attribution lied to you.
- A person who thinks in hypotheses rather than activities. The difference between "I ran a LinkedIn campaign" and "I tested the claim that ICP targeting beats intent, and here is what disproved it".
- Someone who has killed their own channel. The most expensive failure in paid is defending a channel you have already invested your reputation in.
- Comfort getting to the data yourself, whether through SQL or a confident hand with an export. Waiting on an analyst costs half your speed.
- Working knowledge of the SEO and e-commerce world, enough to know who we sell to and in what language. "Marketers" is not an answer.
- Realism about budget. Ours starts small, and this role is about finding what works before it is about volume.
Why Ranketta
- Own acquisition end to end at the point where the answer is still open, with the authority to pull budget out of a channel as well as put it in.
- Work with a free-tool offer that demonstrates the product on the prospect's own data, the strongest acquisition mechanism available in B2B software.
- Build on proprietary data. Our platform tracks how products get recommended across ChatGPT, AI Overviews, Perplexity, Gemini, Claude, Copilot and Grok, which gives your campaigns arguments nobody else can make.
- Shape a category rather than fight for share in an existing one, in two of the world's most important e-commerce markets.
- No layers between your experiment and the decision to fund it.
What you will own
- Own the acquisition budget and its allocation across channels, including the decision to stop funding one.
- Build measurement first: tracking, attribution and a definition of activation grounded in how our existing customers actually behave, not in an assumption.
- Run an experiment backlog where every test carries a hypothesis, a budget, a decision date and the result that would kill it.
- Test and rule on the channel mix. Bottom-funnel search on competitor terms, retargeting the blog audience, LinkedIn against our ICP, newsletter and podcast sponsorships in the SEO and e-commerce space, and agency partnerships as a distribution channel rather than a logo.
- Write and ship the campaign assets and landing pages for paid traffic.
- Own the conversion path from click to activated account, including pushing on product where marketing cannot fix the friction.
- Report per channel rather than in aggregate, because an average hides the one channel carrying the result.
- Scale the channel that proves out, so more budget produces more activated accounts without the economics falling apart.
How we measure the role
Activated accounts from paid sources, not leads. A free audit is low friction, so lead volume can be manufactured almost at will, and optimising for cost per lead reliably produces volume that does not convert. Cost per activated account and free audit to activation conversion sit underneath it, tracked per channel.
Within six months we expect a clear answer to whether paid is a primary engine for Ranketta or a supporting channel. Both are legitimate results. Not knowing is not.
How we hire
A working session rather than a take-home. You get our positioning, what we know about our funnel today and our current numbers, and you walk us through three experiments you would run first, including what would disprove each one and when you would call it.
